PARTNER WITH EMBODY ELECTROLOGY

At Embody Electrology, we value collaborative relationships with healthcare providers who are committed to helping their patients achieve safe, effective, and permanent hair removal.

Why Refer to Embody Electrology?

Electrolysis is the only FDA-recognized method of permanent hair removal. Unlike laser hair removal, electrolysis permanently destroys each individual hair follicle and is effective on:

  • All skin tones and hair colors

  • Fine/coarse hair andHormone-related hair growth

  • Facial and body hair

We provide individualized treatment plans designed around each patient's medical history, treatment goals, and hair growth patterns.

We Commonly Treat

Providers frequently refer patients experiencing:

• Hirsutism • PCOS-related hair growth • Hormonal hair growth • Menopausal facial hair • Hair growth related to hormone replacement therapy (HRT) • Ingrown hairs

• Chronic folliculitis • Facial hair • Neck hair • Unwanted body hair • Hair resistant to laser treatment • Hair unsuitable for laser treatment • White, blonde, gray, or red hair

• Pre-surgical hair removal • Gender-affirming care • Patients seeking permanent hair removal

Patients Who Benefit Most

Electrolysis is an excellent option for patients who:

  • Have completed laser treatments but still have remaining hair.

  • Are not candidates for laser hair removal.

  • Have lighter-colored hair that laser cannot effectively treat.

  • Require permanent hair removal before gender-affirming procedures.

  • Experience recurring ingrown hairs or folliculitis.

  • Want a permanent solution instead of temporary hair reduction.

Our Treatment Process

1. Referral

Providers may refer patients using our referral form or simply direct patients to contact our office.

2. In Person Consultation

Every patient begins with a comprehensive consultation where we:

  • Review medical history

  • Discuss treatment goals

  • Evaluate the treatment area

  • Explain the electrolysis process

  • Develop an individualized treatment plan

  • Answer patient questions

3. Treatment

Electrolysis permanently destroys the hair growth cells by inserting a fine sterile probe into each hair follicle and applying a controlled electrical current.

Treatment sessions are customized based on:

  • Treatment area

  • Hair density

  • Hair growth cycle

  • Patient tolerance

  • Medical considerations

Appointments may range from short touch-up visits to sessions lasting up to two hours.

4. Ongoing Care

Because hair grows in cycles, multiple appointments are necessary to achieve complete permanent removal.

Patients receive:

  • Aftercare instructions

  • Progress monitoring

  • Personalized scheduling recommendations

  • Ongoing treatment adjustments as needed

5. Treatment Completion

Once all follicles have been successfully treated through their natural growth cycles, permanent hair removal is achieved.

Upon request, we are happy to communicate treatment progress with referring providers.
